Honestly, I am getting a bit disturbed by the explicit details of the book "Magical Thinking". Burroughs' narration has a strong sense of femininity, he is very sensitive and skeptic about everything.
What disturbs me is the sexual phrases and words that he uses in the book. There is something "dirty" involved in every story, whether it is his thoughts or his actions. He describes his sexual intercourse in a very detailed way with is boyfriends and he sexually harassed a telemarketer on the phone by asking for his nude picture. There are much more to it, and I am really trying to avoid putting anything inappropriate in my bibliography quotes and blogs. Burroughs does not hold back on his writing at all, he is willing to share whatever he experienced, regardless of the contents.
Now I am starting to find Burroughs as a humorous writer,
"You kick me one more time you little cocksucker, and once we get on the boat, I'll push your mother into the ocean, and she'll die. And then I'll hurt your daddy. And then I'll be your new daddy, and I'll take you home with me."
